Tritax Symmetry and NPL joint venture Magnitude Land has won detailed planning consent for a 200,000ft2 warehouse at its 1,75 million ft2 MA6NITUDE scheme in Middlewich, Cheshire.
The consent allows for two options of development at Unit 41, either a single sided 238,000ft2 facility or a 200,000ft2 cross docked unit on the 17-acre plot.
David Nuttall, development director at Tritax Symmetry, commented: “The two options will allow us to respond flexibly to the market. We have now achieved over 1.75 million ft2 of consents at Ma6nitude in the last two years and we are currently onsite delivering c.350,000ft2 of new accommodation over three units. We have strong interest in both of the speculatively built units, which both offer high-quality, sustainable space in a highly sought-after location.”
Unit 11 and 12 at MA6NITUDE, providing 149,000ft2 and 51,000ft2, are currently being constructed by GMI and are due for completion in June this year. Swizzels’ new 158,000ft2 facility is also under construction and due for completion by the end of 2022.
Joint letting agents for MA6NITUDE are Savills, Legat Owen and B8 Real Estate.
