Magnitude Land, a joint venture between Tritax Symmetry and NPLL, has submitted an outline planning application for a further 867,000 sq ft warehouse space at its 1.5 million sq ft Ma6nitude industrial and logistics scheme in Middlewich, Cheshire.
Speaking about the next phase of development at MA6NITUDE, David Nuttall of Tritax Symmetry, said: “MA6NITUDE is well located to service both the North and the Midlands and we continue to see strong demand across a range of sectors for accommodation of this nature.”
Laura Day of Avison Young, said: “Planning for employment development at this site was originally approved in 2008, however the proposals were approved in relation to the original Middlewich Eastern Bypass route which has since been superseded by a new road alignment approved in July 2019.”
Bob Nicholson of NPL said: “The scheme is a proven location delivering employment space to serve the North West with capacity to deliver various units from 40,000 to over 600,000 sq ft.”
Magnitude Land is being advised by a project team including Avison Young, AEW Architects, SGI and Eddisons Highways.
This application will enhance the range of accommodation available at the scheme and capitalise on the new Middlewich Eastern Bypass just off Junction 18 of the M6. This year will see the development of a new facility for sweet confectioner, Swizzels. with the first 158,000 sq ft of 458,000 sq ft being delivered imminently.
Savills, B8RE and Legat Owen are joint agents for the scheme.
