In a move to redefine the automotive shopping experience, Polestar, the Swedish electric performance car brand, is set to unveil its seventh UK space in the heart of Glasgow’s Silverburn Shopping Centre.
This marks a significant shift as Polestar bids farewell to it temporary pop-up location, opting instead for a permanent home in the heart of Glasgow.
Eschewing the traditional model of car sales, Polestar’s new residence aims to champion a direct-to-consumer, digital-first approach, putting control squarely in the hands of the consumer.
Dubbed ‘The Polestar Space’, the company’s new space is reportedly the first of its kind in Scotland. The space will feature ‘state-of-the-art’ minimalist design, seamless digital interactivity and a team of non-commissioned product specialists.
Customers can even take Polestar’s electric performance for a spin with onsite test drives available, and for added convenience, deliveries can be arranged straight to homes or offices.
Jonathan Goodman, head of Polestar UK, expressed his excitement for the opening of the new space. He stated: “We are thrilled to bring Polestar to Scotland in what promises to be a transformative year for our brand.
“The timing couldn’t be better with the updated Polestar 2 [already] available to customers and Polestar 3, our luxury SUV and Polestar 4 our SUV coupé set to arrive later this year.”
