Revenue rose 7.7 per cent to 15.8bn at UPS in the second quarter while operating profit was up 8.7 per cent to $2.2 billion.
The company highlighted a strong performance in the US Domestic segment which benefits from growing demand for e-commerce deliveries. The Supply Chain and Freight also showed good momentum.
The International segment continued to grow but currency fluctuations meant that operating profit was down on a year ago.
