Leading logistics company, Quality Freight UK has partnered with Collett to move 27 wind turbines to the Clocaenog Forest near Denbigh, Wales.
The 12,000 tonne turbines were brought into Quality Freight’s Ellesmere Port dock on 12 vessels, with Collett providing transport and a heavy lifting crane.
The wind farm will be able to provide 96 megawatts of energy – enough to power 63,800 average UK households per year.
