RARUK Automation has revealed details of its new MiR250 autonomous mobile robot (AMR), which can transport payloads of up 250kg.
Manufacturer MiR (Mobile Industrial Robots, represented in the UK by RARUK Automation, has developed the MiR250 which is able to drive at 7.2km/h (2m/s) while avoiding both static and dynamic obstacles.
The latest addition to its range of AMRs is shorter, at 800mm and lower, at 300mm, than other designs in the range, enabling it to navigate in limited spaces.
MiR has also used heavy-duty components to extend the life expectancy of the AMR, and it is capable of three further hours of operation that its counterparts, as a result of improved charging capabilities.
RARUK will be exhibiting on Stand 210 at IntraLogisteX, which is being held on 28th – 29th July 2020 at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.
