A Birmingham-based logistics company has seen sales rise 57 per cent following a rebrand and a £1m investment in its operations.
The company was founded by David Jolly 35 years ago as Mobile Freight Services, but last year rebranded as Mobile – people.powered.logistics.
His son Ian, who now manages the business, decided it was time to modernise and invested over £1m into its operation, including hiring key members of staff, as well as renewal of part of its fleet, rebranding its name, web site, signage and livery. Since then, turnover has increased from £2.8m to £4.1m and is predicted to hit £5m later this year.
“After 35 years of Mobile Freight Services, we thought it was time to revitalise the company to reflect a modern transport and logistics business and since then we have been going from strength to strength,” said Ian Jolly.
