The letting of a 31,500 sq ft speculative mid box warehouse at Leeds property company Pullans’ Unit 3 Whitehall Point in Leeds, West Yorkshire, has set a new headline rent for the region.
Ferraris Piston Service has taken the property on a 10 year lease to facilitate its expansion. The property was being marketed at a headline rent of £6.50 per sq ft.
The warehouse unit is part of a new scheme development of some 65,000 sq. ft. The unit benefits from two storey offices, two ground level loading doors and a large secure service yard.
Sophie Angus, associate director at CBRE Leeds, said: “Warehouses of this size are few and far between across the region, and as such we are witnessing pent up demand for good quality, new build units of this nature. Unit 3 was let shortly after practical completion and to achieve a new headline rent based on £6.50 per sq ft shows the continued strength of the Leeds market.”
CBRE also report strong interest in the final available unit of 13,500 sq. ft and are hopeful of announcing a letting shortly.
