Four out of five UK consumers believe that a retailer’s returns policy is important or extremely important when deciding where to make an online purchase.
A survey of more than 1,000 UK consumers by XPO Logistics, highlighted just how important returns is to the online buying process.
It also found that 92 per cent of consumers say that environmental sustainability influences their likelihood to buy from a brand – including the sustainability of the supply chain.
About two thirds of 18-34 year olds are likely to use smart speakers to track packages – in contrast 56 per cent of the over-55s would not.
