Mail carrier giant Royal Mail is continuing its worker strike into September.
The Communication Workers Union (CWC) has called for strike action on the 26th, 31st August, as well as the 8th and 9th September, and with the first strike day complete, the disruption looks set to continue.
Royal Mail has apologised for the disruption but has promised to continue delivering ‘as many Special Delivery and Tracked24 parcels as possible’.
On days of the strike, Royal Mail will not be delivering letters with the exemption of Special Delivery post.
It has warned to expect delays.
