Ryder, the truck rental company, has opened a new Midlands-based central office at the Birmingham Business Park, neighbouring the NEC.
The new office will combine Ryder’s key support services, including: legal affairs, finance, learning and development, HR, internal communications and IT. David Hunt, the vice president and managing director of Ryder Europe, alongside other key members of senior management, will be based at the site.
“Our investment in this new centralised office in the Midlands will drive improved collaboration and coordination of our key support services,” said David Hunt, vice president and managing director, Ryder Europe.
“At the same time the benefits of having this new central facility will extend throughout the business and will support our continuing investment and growth plans for the UK focused on providing great service and value for our customers.”
