The sale of the remaining plot at South African investor Equites and Newlands Development’s Equites Park Barnsley scheme to Arrow Capital Partners has secured the speculative development of two new warehouses in South Yorkshire.
The scheme, renamed Arrow Point Barnsley, will consist of Arrow 265, totalling 265,000ft2 with 250,000ft2 warehousing space as well as 15,000ft2 of offices. It will have 15m eaves with 26 dock and 2 level access doors. There will be 169 car and 61 HGV parking spaces.
Arrow 186 will consist of 172,000ft2 of warehouse space with 14,000ft2 of offices. It will have 12.5m eaves as well as 18 dock and two level access doors. There will be 120 car and 43 HGV parking spaces. Both building will benefit from 55m yards 15% roof lights and will be built to BREEAM Excellent and an have an EPC A rating.
The scheme is located immediately adjacent to Junction 36 of the M1 Motorway.
