Sales of supply chain management software rose 13.9 per cent to $12.2 billion in 2017, according to Gartner.
It said cloud offerings were driving the market, partly because more mid-sized organisations were adopting SCM solutions to drive digital business models.
Gartner identified SAP as market leader with 26.6 per cent, followed by Oracle on 13.7 per cent. JDA (4.4 per cent), Infor (2.3 per cent) and Manhattan (1.8 per cent) make up the rest of the top five.
Only JDA and Infor grew their market share by outperforming total market growth, said Gartner.
