St. Modwen has completed a deal to bring ScS (Sofa Carpet Specialist) to Stonebridge Business Park in Liverpool.
ScS will take on a 32,000 sq ft unit on a 10-year lease, transferring to this warehouse from a smaller unit in Warrington.
The park is located on the East Lancashire Road (A580) in north Liverpool, close to Junction 4 of the M57.
Stonebridge Business Park is already home to companies including DPD; UK Storage; Boels Group and Almond Catering.
Stuart Murray, development director at St. Modwen said: “Stonebridge Business Park is a key site in the North West and plays an important role in driving development in the region. The impact of Covid-19 hasn’t wavered the attraction of major businesses such as ScS to the scheme, which is testament to its ideal location and the high-quality speculative units available.”
Gary Kemp, logistics director at ScS, added: “We’re delighted to be upscaling our distribution operation in the North West and transferring to this new unit. As business has grown it was clear that additional distribution capacity was needed in this region and we felt that Stonebridge Business Park offered us the right unit in the right location.”
ScS was advised by Mason Partners. St. Modwen was advised by Avison Young and Knight Frank.
