Work is progressing on two St Modwen sites in Stoke-on-Trent which will see the developer create 226,000 sq ft of employment space and help create up to 700 jobs.
The Birmingham-headquartered listed company has put up steelworks for five new speculative units totalling 183,000 sq ft at its St Modwen Park Stoke South site, formerly known as Trentham Lakes.
The five units ranging from 22,000 – 75,000 sq ft will provide additional sought after space at the 400-acre mixed-use development, which is already home to occupiers including Screwfix, Amazon and Pets at Home.
The news follows St Modwen’s planning application for an additional 250,782 sq ft at St Modwen Park Stoke South in March 2019.
Meanwhile, in the north of the city, St Modwen has begun speculatively building a new 43,000 sq ft unit at St Modwen Park Stoke Central, formerly known as Etruria Valley. The unit expected to be available for occupation from March 2020.
The two sites are located in close proximity to junctions 15 (South) & 16 (North) of the M6.
Joint marketing agents for the two schemes are Knight Frank and Mounsey Chartered Surveyors.
