Stobart Group has won a year long contract with the Environment agency – it will be responsible for logistics, storage and transport for helping communities impacted by flooding.
It will have a flexible 24/7 response throughout the initial 12-month contract.
“Last year’s floods were devastating for many communities across the UK,” said Andrew Tinkler, Stobart Group, CEO. “I am delighted to announce that Stobart Group will be providing support to the Environment Agency over the next twelve months and use our assets to deploy equipment as and when required.”
