Developer Stoford is believed to be seeking up to £90 million to forward fund a 1.2 million sq ft mega shed in Bristol.
Homewares retailer The Range has already agreed terms with Delta Properties on the 55-acre site at central park in Severnside and Stoford is to develop the warehouse facility.
The Range is one of the fastest growing retailers in the UK with over 115 stores currently and another 35 planned to open in 2016. The new Distribution Centre will support the store growth and an increase in multi-channel operations.
The new facility will open in 2017 and bring 1,050 brand new jobs to the area.
JLL advised The Range on the acquisition of the site.
