At the Supply Chain Excellence Awards 2019 the winner of the Rising Star Award was Charlotte Thomas, warehouse operative, at Magna Park Distribution Centre for BT Supply Chain.
The Rising Star Awards celebrates the achievements of an individual under the age of 35 for their outstanding work in the supply chain.
Thomas said on the night: “It feels absolutely amazing to have won this award, I couldn’t believe it when my name popped up on the screen.
“In the last year or so I’ve only just graduated from the young apprentice scheme, so it means so much that my hard work in moving the warehouses, cost savings and CI things has paid off and been recognised. It gives me motivation to continue doing what I’m doing.”
The 23rd Supply ChainExcellence Awards took place at the Park Lane Hilton in London on 5 November 2019.
Thomas was one of over 20 outstanding Rising Stars in the Supply Chain sector to be nominated on the evening.
