Swedish-based TAWI will be bringing its range of vacuum lifters to IntraLogisteX – the biggest intralogistics and warehousing trade show in the UK – on 28-29 March at the NEC Birmingham.
Manufactured at TAWI’s head office in Kungsbacka on the west coast of Sweden, the lifters are in use around the world. They eliminate the weight of loads, assisting in lifting and allowing the work of multiple people to be done by a single member of staff.
TAWI claims that with its solutions, ‘anyone can lift an item, be it a heavy sack, a plank of wood, or a container, no matter their size, strength, age, or gender’.
Application of vacuum lifting technology can improve health and safety by significantly reducing the risk of overexertion when lifting. Furthermore, it can lead to productivity and efficiency increases, saving time and effort.
At the exhibition, TAWI will be showcasing several of its different solutions.
TAWI describes its Multifunctional Vacuum Lifter as its ‘most flexible lifter’. Using adjustable suction cups, it can be used to lift items ranging from cardboard boxes to glass sheets from several different angles.
Visitors will also be able to find out about TAWI’s High-Frequency Vacuum Lifters, allowing for rapid lifting in fast-pace environments and needing only to be operated with one hand. Capable of lifting weights of up to 63.5kg, this lifter’s suction foot can hold most types of packaged goods including boxes and drums.
Other products in TAWI’s product range will be on show as well, including its Mobile Order Pickers and Pallet Magazines/Dispensers.
TAWI (Stand i302) will be at IntraLogisteX on 28-29 March 2023 at the NEC Birmingham. For more information, visit www.intralogistex.co.uk.
