Jacquie Silvester, Head of Sustainability & Improvement at furniture manufacturer and retailer The Cotswold Company, will be speaking at Logistics Manager’s Sustainable Supply Chain Conference in London on 10 May 2023.
She will discuss the concept of decarbonisation and the best course of action for businesses to take in order to decarbonise their operations. Her presentation will encompass carbon offsetting, Scope 1 and Scope 3 emissions, and the conflict between cost and social obligation with regards to carbon emissions.
Silvester is a sustainability expert, passionate about the environment, who strongly believes change will only come from the bottom up. As Head of Sustainability & Improvement with 15 years’ service at The Cotswold Company, Jacquie is keen to promote sustainability not only in line with the company’s strategic goals, but also at a personal level throughout the workforce.
