TNT has opened a 21,527 sq ft transport hub in the Netherlands dedicated to shipping healthcare products to European destinations, including the UK.
Located near the Dutch city of Heerlen and the distribution centres of 80 medical device manufacturers, the facility operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week consolidating medtech shipments from SMEs and multinationals. It will cater to 96 per cent of Europe’s 16,000 hospitals.
