Topps Tiles, a UK-based retailer specialising in tiles, has extended its contract with haulier Pall-Ex as a distributor.
The two companies have worked together for three years already and, with the renewal of this contract, Pall-Ex will continue to manage Topps Tiles’ palletised home delivery distribution for a minimum of two more years.
The retailer has said that it will be relying more on Pall-Ex to support its ongoing expansion, which includes the addition of a new online brand, Tile Warehouse, which ‘brings everyday low prices to homeowners across the country’.
As part of the agreement, a Pall-Ex customer service advisor will spend time each week at Topps Tiles’ Leicestershire support office, providing a ‘dedicated line of communication when it comes to day-to-day collections and deliveries’.
In addition, Topps Tiles uses MyNexus, Pall-Ex’s bespoke freight tracking software. MyNexus makes use of what3words addresses to allow customers to select precise locations for delivery.
