Tritax Big Box Developments has announced new phases at three of its logistics parks with a further 2.57 million ft² development planned.
This second phase of development is estimated to create 220 construction jobs; 2,105 jobs during operation and generate up to £9.87m of business rates per year.
At Tritax Park Oxford, the logistics developer has submitted plans to build 1.75m ft² of accommodation across nine units ranging in size from 98,000ft² up to 317,000ft².
Planning for the second phase at Tritax Park Oxford comes as Tritax is midway through the development of a new 600,000ft² production facility for Siemens Healthineers on phase one.
At Symmetry Park Biggleswade, Tritax has commenced the development a new 65,847ft² facility for Warburtons along with four high-quality logistics buildings totalling over 750,000ft², ranging in size from 139,500ft² up to 287,200ft².
Lastly, Tritax has submitted a detailed planning application to Cherwell District Council for phase three at Symmetry Park Bicester.
The plans would see the delivery of 270,000ft² industrial and logistics space across two mid-box units measuring 155,000ft² and 115,000ft².
