Fulfilment and e-tail sales company Trojan has launched a new service called ‘Fulfilled by Trojan’.
The company said that the service “mirrors a similar offering by Amazon, whereby a seller keeps an item in Amazon’s warehouses and lets Amazon ship and pack it.”
It said that the service has an advantage in that it is able to sell items across a number of channels without increased cost for services.
The new service delivers a pick and pack service, warehouse storage and management, and a logistics service.
“There is a clear gap in the market for a service that helps businesses of all sizes to significantly scale or start their internet sales journey,” said Clive Murphy, managing director of Trojan. “Marketplaces like eBay and Amazon continue to increase their foothold within ecommerce.
“Companies not selling multichannel are missing out on significant online sales.”
