SEGRO and Aviva Investors are developing two speculative units at Heathrow through their joint venture Airport Property Partnership.
The Skyline development will initially consist of 73,530 sq ft and 80,440 sq ft units near Heathrow’s cargo terminal. Both have the potential for office space across the first and second floors.
Alan Holland, director of APP and SEGRO’s business unit director for Greater London, said: “The connectivity to Heathrow, to London and to the UK’s motorway network make the location the ideal place for business and will create employment opportunities for the local area. Based on feedback from our customers and our expertise in the Heathrow market, we are confident that the new units are what companies are looking for but cannot find in today’s market.”
The new development will offer large, secure yard areas, with 12 metre eaves height, and is targeting a BREEAM ‘very good’ and EPC rating A. The units will complete in Summer 2016.
