UPS France has opened a 32,291ft2 site at Lyon Saint Exupéry Airport, expanding its European presence.
The new building, which is now located on the edge of the runways, represents an area twice as large as the old premises. It is equipped with parcel sorting technology to increase efficiency, reliability, and speed of the installations.
The company’s new platform at Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport can now sort up to 3,000 packages per hour, more than double the capacity of the previous installation.
In addition to the technical and technological improvements brought by the new installation of the hub at, UPS is creating 90 direct and indirect jobs on site.
