UPS is to build a new global technology development centre in Parsippany, New Jersey which will be used to develop innovative technology solutions to improve operational efficiencies, drive growth and run UPS’s global network.
The four-story 200,000 sq ft building is, expected to open in mid-2017, is designed to promote collaboration, communication, efficiency and learning in a work environment that fosters creativity and problem solving.
“Each year, UPS invests approximately one billion dollars in technology,” said Juan Perez, UPS senior vice president of technology. “The significant investment in this location sets an environment for UPSers to continue to solve complex problems in transport and logistics and to provide unmatched services to our customers using innovative technology.”
