Peter Smith, managing director of Vision Logistics, is confirmed to be speaking at Logistics Manager’s Industrial & Logistics Property Conference on 15 May 2024 in London.
His session, entitled ‘The impact of evolving healthcare logistics requirements on UK infrastructure’ will provide insights into the evolution of the healthcare sector on the final-mile delivery requirements. The session will also cover how the emphasis on a robust infrastructure will enable enhanced consumer (patient) experience and how specialised final-mile solutions will drive innovation within the sector.
Vision Logistics is a UK-based healthcare logistics company specialising in direct-to-patient delivery and healthcare fulfilment solutions. Responsible for nine UK locations and over, 150 employees, Peter Smith joined Vision Logistics in February 2022 as commercial director and transitioned into the role of managing director in January 2023, coinciding with Vision Logistics becoming a part of the Life Couriers Group in 2022. Historically, Smith worked for UPS for 17 years, in various commercial roles throughout the UK and Europe.
