Volkswagen Slovakia is to develop a new logistics centre worth €150million in Slovakian capital Bratislava. New technologies, like automatic collators with a capacity of 200,000 files for assembly parts, will be implemented at the site.
The logistics centre will reserve some space for high-voltage batters for electric car model ‘Volkswagen UP!’, as well as for hybrid vehicles.
The new centre is expected to be fully operational by the end of next year.
