Freight forwarder World Freight Services has secured an another airside cargo centre in Heathrow.
The company has taken a 10 year lease at an undisclosed rent for an 82,404 sq ft unit at Airport Property Partnership’s B549 Shoreham Road. This letting comes only months after the company took 150,000 sq ft at unit B550 Shoreham Road in March. WFS now occupies 400,000 sq ft at Heathrow Cargo Centre across four units.
Alan Holland, director of APP and Segro’s business unit director for Greater London, said: “WFS is a major player in the cargo handling industry and works with many of the world’s leading airlines. Their continued expansion at the Heathrow Cargo Centre will help them accommodate their growing client base and deliver the high quality handling services WFS is known for all over the world.”
APP is a joint venture formed between SEGRO and Aviva Investors.
