Will Whitehorn has been appointed as the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) president for the UK. Whitehorn is director of Stagecoach Group and has acted as vice-president of the institute for the past four years.
Talking about disruptive technology and innovation in logistics Whitehorn said: “Great change is upon us. There will be bigger opportunities, and the sector will become more interesting as it encourages and embraces this change. This Institute has a proud history and its future will be an exciting one as we move into a new world.”
