Supply chain solutions provider Wincanton Group has secured a contract to fulfil the e-commerce needs of Huda Beauty, a cosmetics brand, in its expansion into the UK market.
Wincanton’s e-commerce fulfilment business, Cygnia Logistics will oversee the contract, operating Huda Beauty’s direct-to-consumer supply chain based at Cygnia’s 211,000 ft² warehouse in Northamptonshire.
As well as managing the brand’s direct-to-consumer logistics, Cygnia will manage Huda Beauty’s business-to-business (B2B) fulfilment operations by delivering stock to eight UK retailers including Boots, Selfridges, and Harrods.
Carl Moore, Wincanton Group’s Managing Director of e-fulfilment said: “Using Wincanton’s goods-to-person robot enabled solution, we are looking forward to increasing resilience, performance and [improving] customer proposition for Huda”.
He continued: “We look forward to supporting Huda through this next stage of their development in the UK by offering them a supply chain infrastructure capable of meeting their ambitions for this market.”
