Yusen Logistics has won a contract to handle Halford’s inbound supply chain operations to the UK.
The logistics company already manages the company’s air and sea freight partners.
The retailer’s supply chain is made up of more than 50 different sourcing points across 18 countries, which include: China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Tunisia, the Philippines and the USA.
“Yusen Logistics has really become part of the Halfords family since they began managing our supply chain,” said Pierce Carey, Halfords. “They are forging relationships with all parties involved within our global supply chain, both internal and external, adding value across the entire business and bringing greater structure to way we work and communicate.
