German fashion retailer Bonita is set to implement a task management solution from Zebra Technologies to ‘transform’ its retail operations.
Having noticed communication issues between the company’s head office in Hamminkeln, Northwest Germany and its stores around Europe, sales operations leaders at Bonita recognised the need for a modern software solution to remove the manual processes in place, streamline connectivity and information sharing, and create better communications.
The company then reached out to Zebra and began working with its specialist retail software team to ‘map out and analyse workflows, associate tasks in the workflow, and identify potential productivity, efficiency and financial saving gains’.
Zebra’s task management software solution is part of a framework called The Modern Store that Zebra claims has helped retailers achieve 95% on-time task completion and 98% inventory accuracy while increasing transaction value by 25%.
The solution consists of Reflexis Real-Time Task Manager, Q-Walk, Q-Chat, and Q-Forms and will be used by associates and managers via mobile devices. Reflexis Real-Time Task Manager preselects tasks and structures them according to priorities, notifying teams of urgent tasks that need to be completed. Q-Walk is an auditing system, Q-Chat is an instant messaging system, and Q-Forms is a platform to create, update, and share workflow forms.
Bonita expects to put the Zebra solution to use in all 470 of its European stores beginning May this year. The retailer has stores in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.
Zebra Technologies (stand i820) will be at IntraLogisteX on 28-29 March 2023 at the NEC Birmingham. For more information, visit www.intralogistex.co.uk.
